1000 Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Transient Bigg's Killer Whales, Humpbacks, Minke, Dall's and Harbour Porpoise

Just when you wonder where the Transient Bigg's Orca got to, they pop up. Pacific White Sided Dolphins are in huge numbers, giving way for many reports. They've mostly managed to stay clear of the Bigg's Orca. A few Humpback Whales are now being noticed working their way South in the inside waters. I would expect us to have more reports of these Southbound Humpbacks transiting our inside waters over the next while.
For those interested in my winter Hummingbirds, the first of my winter Anna's Hummingbirds have arrived back to the feeder.
There is a link below to a video clip of a group of around 20 Transient Bigg's Killer Whales attacking a small Blue Whale. The harsh realities of nature.

This gang of Transient Bigg's Killer Whales are doing their best to drown and feed on a smaller Blue Whale. So much for the idea that they don't attack the larger whales!
